My brother lives in Martinsburg and has a fatal disease. My sisters and i visit a couple timea a year and this is where we stay and have stayed for the last 5-6 years. Its always pleasant and i dont want to stay anywhere else. All but this time has the staff always been very happy to see us and always welcoming. The front desk girl this time wasnt what i was use to. Maybe she was having a bad day. One time would not deter my future stays. I am in the hotel business myself working for Great Wolf Lodge, so i understand a bad day! Thank you Holiday Inn Martinsburg WV. Its nice to have a friendly place to go after an emotional day with my brother.

First time there I enjoyed my stay. Where we stayed everything was close in proximity to the hotel. We went for the air show there. That was nice also. The hotel was nice and convenient to and from the highway. I would stay again very nice little town.

We'd never been to Martinsburg, so we decided to see a part of the world we'd never seen before, didn't know anybody, see the city and just relax. All the sights and shopping were a good driving distance and we just loved the beautiful sceneries.

Very special people live there and I visit often. Lots of places to eat. IBC church is a great place to worship. War memorial park is a wonderful place for families - fun playgrounds, pool and picnic areas

Staff was friendly, but no one wore masks.
Staff was friendly, but no one wore masks. Full trash can by elevator was a turn off as was unmasked staff getting in elevator with us talking about cleaning the elevator panel! Breakfast area was full of unmasked people so we left. Room seemed clean, but would not stay there again. Other hotel chains are doing much better in making visitors feel safe during this Delta variant covid spike!

Martinsburg was convenient for our purposes.
Martinsburg was convenient for our purposes. In addition to spending time with family, we visited Harper's Ferry National Historic Park, and historic Charles Town and Shepardstown. Each destination was an easy drive from the hotel. The chain restaurants new the hotel were mediocre at best, I would avoid them in favor of some of the local dining options. Traffic this close to I-81 is heavy at times. Getting in and out of the hotel parking lot can be difficult. Use a GPS with live updates in order to avoid traffic tie ups, especially around rush hour.

The staff was amazing and the Hotel is wonderful my boyfriend and I enjoyed the pool very much and it is in a great location to go out to eat. We actually walked to near by restaurants and shopping centers. Over all one of my best experiences.
Breakfast was good. Location good. Walking distance to Walmart and eating places very close. Plenty of space in the room and having a fridge freezer was very helpful. Bed comfortable. Very quiet area, first hotel I have been to that I actually slept well. Everyone very friendly. Would definitely return to this hotel next time we visit Martinsburg and will use Home2 Suites in the future for other locations if possible. Really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel seems to have been recently remodeled. The room was spacious and clean. It is conveniently located on highway 81. Very pleasantly surprised with the breakfast selection. We expected a much more limited Continental breakfast. The coffee in the kitchen was plentiful and piping hot. I travel for my work and have stayed in many hotels. This one rivaled a number of the Hilton brand hotels I have stayed in. A great value! I will be back.
It was just ok, I’ve stayed at Hampton inns before this was not on the best list….
Bed was too hard, breakfast was terrible and I injured my finger closing barn door style bath door, the door goes farther than the door frame so I had my finger in the handle and crushed it, it’s very badly bruised could be broken.
So much! Our room was quiet and dark for sleeping. The beds were firm. There was an armchair and ottoman (This feature was why I chose this hotel). The cleaning, cooking, and desk staff were very friendly. The omelets were scrumptious.
I ordered the hotel, But they were closed when we get there midnight . We have to slept in the car over night and no one answer the phone. I never checked in waiting until 6:30am in the morning then I left, Can I get the refund?
Booked this room because it claimed to be pet friendly online, when we arrived was informed that applied to dogs only. It should state that beforehand. Let us stay anyway, for a $10 fee. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
Great breakfast, nice people.
Great location, very close to get back to highway.
I’ll definitely stop by this place again.and we stayed at same hotel in Virginia, same satisfaction!
Super recommended.
Thank you so much!
The hotel was closed when I arrived. I did not get my money back. I was stalked by crack heads demanding money. I thought I was about to die. Ii hate you people and hate your lying thriving scum ass selves
I loved this hotel! It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend it, as well as stay there again myself. The desk attendant was very helpful and kind. It was a great experience!
Excellent location right off 81, with multiple places to eat. We have stayed in this hotel for years while returning from vacation. Staff are always very friendly and accomodating.
